Applications are invited for the position of REI sub-specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, IWK Health Centre & Dalhousie University. The successful candidate will possess an MD plus FRCSC or equivalent certification and have completed a fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

This position is part of a group practice and the incumbent will hold a continuing appointment with Dalhousie University. The clinical and academic responsibilities will be carried out at the IWK Health Centre and AART, a state of the art private clinic located within walking distance of the IWK Health Centre.

For candidates with significant administrative and leadership experience, this role could include the responsibilities of Medical Director of AART. Applications will be considered for those with less leadership experience for the role of a full-time academic clinician.

This position reports to the Department Head. Academic rank upon appointment will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the university teaching program, conduct or participate in biomedical or clinical research, and assume some administrative responsibilities. The Department will give preference to applicants with experience and expertise in all clinical activities as well as a demonstrated aptitude and interest in research.
