Lee Placito Professorship

of Gastroenterological Disease

Start date: as early as can be arranged.

The Lee Placito Professor of Gastroenterological Disease will establish and lead world-class basic scientific and translational research programmes in gastroenterology. The holder of the chair must be medically qualified and hold a PhD, MD or equivalent qualification, as well as GMC registration with appropriate revalidation.

You will have an outstanding track record in research in inflammatory bowel disease or related field, with academic leadership skills at national and international levels. You will be able to show the potential to produce further work of high significance and impact during the tenure of the professorship.

The post is held in conjunction with a non-stipendiary professorial fellowship at Green Templeton College.
