The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, Department of Surgery, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Otolaryngologist with an interest in head and neck oncology, trauma and general ENT surgery. As section chief of ENT in the Department of Surgery, this faculty member will have the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor with responsibilities that include assisting in the development of programs of clinical excellence that can support the academic programs.


Individual will provide patient care in their field of expertise. As part of the main teaching faculty of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, additional responsibilities include overseeing education of surgery residents and medical students via operating room experience, office practice, teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences, as well as enhancing opportunities for scholarly research. Care is delivered at a tertiary referral center, one of the largest hospitals in the state of Illinois. The UICOMP Department of Surgery includes general surgeons with a wide variety of post-graduate training specialties. Our faculty surgeons are a dedicated group with strong collaboration in a work environment that fosters growth and excellence. 

Candidates must hold or be eligible for Illinois medical license and must be board certified or eligible in specialty. Strong teaching abilities and interpersonal skills are essential.
