Job Details

Join the Department of Dermatology at the award winning Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia!  VCU Health has achieved Magnet status for nursing excellence and is listed in the top 100 Hospitals by Thomson Reuters, US News and World Report and Working Mothers Magazine, to name a few.

We are seeking a dermatologist for teaching, scholarly pursuits and general clinical practice in our academic department. We provide practice opportunities at our urban medical campus, as well as at our suburban campus where our new, 60,000 square foot ambulatory building opened in late 2016.  This facility features a full complement of dermatologic care including phototherapy, Mohs surgery, laser and cosmetic treatments.

Candidate must be a BC/BE Dermatologist and must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU Health.   Candidate must also possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.  Academic rank will be offered commensurate with experience.  Our physician practice plan, MCV Physicians, offers a market-based, compensation plan that provides a competitive salary structure combined with the full benefit package of a large health organization.
