GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGIST

Waukesha, WI

Located 20 miles west of Milwaukee

ProHealth Care is seeking an eligible, board certified gynecologic oncologist to join our well-established program. The selected applicant would join our gynecologic oncologist and nurse practitioner in providing care to women with gynecologic malignancies at the UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care and ProHealth Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial hospitals. Outpatient care is delivered primarily at our new 162,140 square foot, state-of- the-art dedicated cancer center in Pewaukee. This facility boasts a full array of cancer services including:

• Hematology/medical oncology

• Neuro oncology

• Radiation oncology

• Palliative care practitioners

• On-site radiologic services

• Cancer rehabilitation

• Genetics counseling

• Nutrition

• Social services support

We have a robust multidisciplinary tumor conference well attended by medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and tumor registry.

Most surgical procedures are performed at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital, a 301 bed facility with 16 operating room suites - including two DaVinci Xi Robotic systems. ProHealth Care also employs dedicated surgical assistants who are experienced in gynecologic oncology procedures. We also have a free-standing inpatient hospice unit at AngelsGrace Hospice.

Our cancer program is partnered with UW Health, the only NCI designated cancer program in the state of Wisconsin to provide the best local care, while at the same time providing greater access to advanced research and clinical trials. Our research team consists of specialists who assist in identifying eligible patients for protocols and enrolling patients on clinical trials.

Waukesha, Wisconsin is a vibrant city within Waukesha County, which includes a population of almost 400,000. The region thrives in a year-round calendar of activities in arts and culture, professional and collegiate sports, and recreational activities. With easy access to major metropolitan cities, including Milwaukee and Chicago, this role provides a community practice setting with urban amenities close to home.
