Job Details

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a Division Chief of Gynecologic Oncology. The Division Chief will be expected to lead gynecologic oncology care and practice within the department as well as to manage shared activities and collaborations with the MGH Cancer Center, with other relevant MGH departments and with women’s cancer programs across the MGH network of hospitals and affiliates.

The desired candidate, like the division itself, will have strengths and demonstrated success in the provision of clinical care, conduct of research and teaching. The division chief, like other division faculty, must be skilled in providing complex surgical care and is expected to serve as a resource for other gynecologic surgeons within the department.  Candidates should have demonstrated prior success in administration and leadership roles. A candidate’s record should be appropriate for appointment as an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School or should reflect accomplishments such that promotion to this level would soon be anticipated.

Mass General, one of the top-ranked hospitals in the United States, is also a major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.  Our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians deliver exceptional care with both passion and purpose across all subspecialty areas in the Ob/Gyn field. Our institution utilizes state-of-the-art EMR and prides itself on piloting innovative care delivery models.

The position will offer a competitive salary and benefit programs, a world-class integrated specialty network, and professional development programs.

We are an equal opportunity employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
