Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, a physician-led group in Richmond, VA, is currently seeing a board eligible or board certified Cardiac Surgeon to join Cardiac Surgery Specialists. This physician will be part of a team providing dedicated outpatient and hospital services. This physician will perform surgeries at two facilities within a 15-minute commute of the other; St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA and Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA. Cardiac Surgery Specialists benefit from having a full support staff of Nurse Practitioners, Surgical PAs, a Surgical Assistant and LPNs. This position is open to all candidates interested in continuing the program advancement in CCABG, Valve, Minimally Invasive, and Off-Pump Surgeries. Specific clinical interests and, more specifically, training in TAVRs are advantageous. Additionally, practicing evidence-based medicine, and providing quality and cost-sensitive care to patients in a compassionate, healing environment is of the utmost importance to the Bon Secours’ mission.

Bon Secours Heart and Vascular Institute fosters a comprehensive heart surgery program, advancing surgical option for patients to include the latest in cardiac technology, minimally invasive techniques and robotics. Providers have access to the most advanced technology available, including the da Vinci Robotics equipment. Renowned Cardiologists also perform Coronary Artery Bypasses, Valve Repair Replacements, Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm surgeries, and Advanced Heart Failure solutions.
