The Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the BloodCenter of Wisconsin jointly seek to recruit candidates for an Assistant or Associate full-time faculty position. This position provides inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on hematological malignancies and multiple myeloma. The successful candidate will also serve as the Medical Director of the Molecular Oncology Laboratory at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin. Additional responsibilities include the development of a multi-disciplinary clinical research program centered on the molecular diagnostic aspects of hematologic malignancies worthy of peer-reviewed funding. 

Qualified candidates must be board certified and/or board eligible in hematology/oncology and be eligible to serve as a medical director of a high-complexity laboratory per CLIA regulations.  Highly competitive salary and benefits are offered for successful candidates.

Demand for hematology and oncology services at the Medical College of Wisconsin has increased 56% over a five-year period and our BMT program provides more transplants per year than any other hospital in Wisconsin.  The Division of Hematology and Oncology has a large faculty and advanced-practice provider base, a dedicated inpatient and ambulatory care facility, an integrated Palliative Care program and close clinical and research interactions with Surgical and Radiation Oncology, the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research, and is an active member of ECOG. The Molecular Oncology Laboratory at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin provides specialized esoteric diagnostic testing for patients with hematologic malignancies. The laboratory utilizes cutting-edge technology to include next-generation sequencing assays for AML diagnosis.
