FACULTY POSITION

DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY, DIVISION OF GENERAL AND ONCOLOGIC SURGERY

The University of Maryland seeks candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of General and Oncologic Surgery at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.  Candidates should be board certified in general surgery or currently in training in accredited general surgery residency or a general surgery sub-specialty fellowship program.  Responsibilities will include clinical care of general surgery patients, program and practice development, education of students, residents, fellows and participation in research programs.  This opportunity is based at the University of Maryland Medical Center, as well as affiliated community hospitals.

Applicants must be Board Certified or Board eligible in general surgery, and have minimally invasive and open surgical skills, as well as research and teaching experience.
